"Crime Boss Rockay City is a cautionary tale for how to effectively budget a video game, and a prime example of how games need to feel and play well first and foremost. Still, in its current state, Crime Boss: Rockay City feels like a low-level wannabe criminal trying to get rich quick on a street populated with multiplayer shooters who already do better." - Jason Hon GG Recon - 2/5 There is fun to be had with a team of four friends completing missions together. With the game planned to be a live service experience, with more time, developer InGame Studios will hopefully add more features and gameplay mechanics to help the game stand out in the multiplayer shooter genre. "The limited time to play the review build of Crime Boss: Rockay City felt unfinished and needed more gameplay activities and depth. Frankly I’m surprised Christopher Walken didn’t show up." - Lucas White ScreenRant - 2.5/5 It’s neither a cynical corporate cringe like Sharknado, nor is it a low-budget dud you’d expect to see a crew of robot puppets heckle. It’s a massive swing and a big miss, with enough force to crack the sound barrier while the ball stays in the catcher’s mitt. All snark aside I don’t think I’ve ever played a game quite like Crime Boss: Rockay City. "If the idea of playing a shooter crammed on top of a modern edition of Drug Wars, full of pseudo ironic stunt casting and roguelike gimmicks sounds like a good time, boy do I have a game for you. Crime Boss: Rockay City might not have the most versatile activities, best gunplay, or first-class writing, but it does provide an interesting experience that, like a cheap B-movie, has that certain kind of charm you can’t help but enjoy." - Noah Nelson ShackNews - 5/10 "It’s not every day we get a new studio taking a big swing by taking a genre that has been executed perfectly for years and giving it a unique twist. And now, I’m going to show you how to elevate this recipe using enriched butter from the MagicalButter machine. This classic Jewish dessert is always a crowd pleaser, due to its buttery, flaky croissant-like crust and finger food quality. From chocolate, to Nutella ::aka the most perfect food in the world:: to jam and nuts, the filling options are endless, which is what makes them so ideal for the holiday season. it looks likeRugelach, the jack of all trades ’s somewhere between a pastry and a cookie with several options for filling. Long story short, after much swearing and a big mess I was left with a very 'wet' pulp that obviously has a ton of butter left in it. Plus, getting the pulp out of the bag is not easy and a lot is left behind. This is not to say there isn't more oil or butter to be had. It also does seems to 'clog' quickly and there's a point where no oil comes out anymore. For one, it absorbs the oils into the fabric. I ended up using the filter bag that Magical Butter supplies and I am not a fan of that thing at all. The problems started when I went to strain and couldn't find my fine weave strainer. I added some pucks from attempted rosin presses and a 1/2 gram of decarbed shatter as well. Both were decarbed in the decarb box from Magical Butter (more on that later). One of the ounces was a bit suspect as to quality. I started with 7 sticks of butter and a bit over 2 oz. I can't say this last attempt at infused butter was all that successful. And I always feel like I should be listening to this when I use it. Here's a little vid of my og model in action. Sort of a heated blender on steroids lol. VirusBarrier X9 can scan every file on any connected disk, including within compressed archives, and it can scan emails and connected iOS devices. Together these tools offer a high level of protection against direct and indirect unwanted software and malware threats. The job of VirusBarrier is self-explanatory, but the second is a two-way firewall, a component you don’t often see included with security software at this sort of price. Intego’s Mac Internet Security X9 suite combines VirusBarrier with NetBarrier to create a pair of utilities designed to catch and kill malware threats, and spot potential intrusion attempts from outside as well as outgoing attempts from rogue software. VirusBarrier from Intego is well known among Mac users, with the solution being one of the first virus scanners on the Mac. The browser is full screen, primary monitor only and has focus. Mouse back to primary monitor, Hypersnap behind my browser. OK, now Hypersnap is responding, and taking an image of just the secondary monitor. Keep Hypersnap in front and with focus, and move the mouse cursor onto the secondary monitor. Press PrintScreen, and Hypersnap responds, taking an image of just the primary monitor, which I am happy with. Keeping the mouse pointer on the primary monitor, I alt-tab to Hypersnap, which is also on the primary monitor. Also, if I don't document as I go, the small details can get lost / confused. I am now going to describe all of my findings, documenting them as I go, in the hopes that something here will offer a clue. Hypersnap is running, responding, and I can alt-tab to it. The only way I know something is happening is if I then paste the current clipboard into a program that will accept an image paste, then the screen shot turns up. If I press PrintScreen then a screen capture of both monitors is taken, but Hypersnap is not involved or responding at all. No obvious trigger, my machine has been running for a couple of days now, but not a massive up time. I have just encountered the problem again. Which was odd, since I could set a new shortcut in the hotkeys settings, and they were picked up and recorded by the dialog. I have only just discovered this though, I actually thought HyperSnap was not responding to any keyboard shortcuts at all, regardless. Once I do "something", perhaps related to moving HyperSnap between monitors, it starts responding normally again. From what I have noticed, when I first turn on the computer HyperSnap is loaded, but is not responding to keyboard shortcuts. I have only noticed this problem with screen captures not being triggered in the last few weeks, which suggests it is a recent problem. One other setting change I have made is to set: Capture settings -> Capture -> Delay time before the capture = 0 milliseconds I have been using HyperSnap for years, and have it set to load on windows startup, and also to load minimised. The current monitor is always the one with the cursor, even if the current program (window) with keyboard focus is on the other monitor. Once the PrintScreen button is working again, it does not seem to matter which screen I have HyperSnap on. When the problem is happening I found bringing HyperSnap to the front, going to the Capture tab, and pressing the "Full Screen" button worked correctly, even though pressing the PrintScreen keyboard button had no effect. When I finish moving house I will be back to 3 physical monitors. In Windows display settings, it is currently listing 2 monitors, as separate monitors, which is correct. Print Screen Key Handling = Capture Full Screen which, on my system, captures the "current" monitor, and only the current monitor. 6.21: Clear window transparency under Vista option, small fixes.Enable Hot Keys = On I keep this On, at all times, even though I have customised the hotkeys themselves, to avoid conflicts with other programs. HyperSnap is the fastest and easiest way to take screen captures as images and capture editable text (TextSnap) from any part of Windows screen. Easy to use yet powerful Screen Capture, Text Capture, Image Editor for Windows Otherwise I'm guessing they would work more closely with the IsoDraw export (or eventual Illustrate/IsoDraw hybrid) since they have control of the core file and tweak it to improve in their system. If that is your hope I'd suggest submitting an enhancement request. I wouldn't recommend waiting for PTC to work better with EPS files at this point. Most everything I've found needs Ghostscript, or a similar software that is specifically tuned to handle EPS files. To improve the appearance you have to add Ghostscript. Note also that while Imagemagick will convert EPS to PNG, your quality may vary if you just did the base install. Or, the more proper method, would be to install on the server and do the conversions for the publish there. identify -format 'x x y' someimage.jpg Edit: As Birei pointed out. for f in ls jpg do convert -compress Group4 \ -type bilevel \ -depth 100 \ -units PixelsPerInch -monochrome \ -resize 850X1100 \ -density 100 \ f 2-f done You can verify by using the identify utility. That was about three years ago and haven't had to touch it since. 1 You would use -density option to set the DPI. One copy of the software in a network location. I was able to use a shared network location and then used the macro language to call the exe (have done similar with ACL as well). Solved: Hello, We periodically convert batches of Adobe Illustrator files to JPEGs at several sizes and resolutions, after making some adjustments to them. Like you, I had no desire to install Imagemagick on each users computer so I used the portable version instead. id prefer to not use resize and trying to get them to a 100 dpi setting. In regards to Imagemagick, I had to do something like this for IsoDraw where I needed some additional control over the export. Trying to use imagemagick to have all images set to a preset size like a letterhead (8 1/2x11) for example. In your case, you could possible dump a PNG out in the macro save. This button does save, but also dumps EPS files, PNGs, and PDFs depending on what they are used for (layer and file names determine what files get exported as). Its not the source image-Ive done it with several high quality PDFs and they all have the same problem. I am told ImageMagick can do this, so I get ImageMagick to work, but it only returns a JPG that is sized about 1/5 the original PDF size. In our case I've provided a 'Save' button for everyone to use. I have a 300 DPI PDF that I want to turn into a 300 DPI JPG thats 2550x3300. To resize a photo called PXL_20210413_015045733.jpg to a more manageable 500-pixel width, type this: $ convert PXL_20210413_015045733.jpg -resize 500x sleeping-cats.What illustration tool are you using for the creation of the files up front? The reason I ask is that if you are using IsoDraw, it has a robust macro language. density: the density defines the image resolution it is in DPI (dots per inch). The ImageMagick convert command uses this general syntax: convert you save back the image in png or which format you prefer, imageMagick on the prompt normally works on files, so you have to save and read back. ImageMagick is a full suite of tools, one of the most common is the convert command. you run the iMagick class (php for example) or run a prompt based version of imageMagick with the dpi convert options ( i do not rember them actually ). I use the ImageMagick convert tool to change the size of my photo so that I can include it on my web page. The photo from my phone is very large, about 4000x3000 pixels, at 3.3MB. For example, let's say I want to include a photo of my cats on my personal website. I often use ImageMagick on my webserver to resize images. eps file that I can look at in Photoshop, and it has a very high resolution, sharp edges, etc. 1in 2.54cm, so to get DPI we multiply that to the resolution as follows: 2.54 28.34 71. You can also choose the format which by default is Pixel/Inch. To get DPI we have to do a little calculation. I’m talking about going to Picture -> PrintingSize and then adjusting the Values X-Resolution and Y-Resolution which are known to me as so called DPI values. See Command Line Processing for advice on how to structure your magick command or see below for example usages of the command. I only have the German dialog installed but I’ll try to translate it. Use the magick program to convert between image formats as well as resize an image, blur, crop, despeckle, dither, draw on, flip, join, re-sample, and much more. Free online course: RHEL Technical Overview I know I can set or change an images DPI using ImageMagick convert with the -density parameter, but this will re-encode the image. 54 In GIMP there is a very simple way to do what I want. “I made parallels with the sexual awakening and her fangs coming out. In Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person, Luis-Seize’s feature debut, Sasha’s thirst for blood is treated as a metaphor for sexual awakening, leading to a variety of intelligent, funny, and highly creative subversions of the coming-of-age genre. The award-winning short films Wild Skin and Shooting Star are clear examples of Louis-Seize’s knack for portraying captivating, sometimes odd, stories about unconventional young women characters exploring their identity, or going to some sort of awakening. “It’s a film about death, of course, but also about life and our need for human connection and friendship,” said director Ariane Louis-Seize in an interview with But Why Tho? “It’s also a tale about two outcast people, each in their own world.” After dealing with much pressure from her family to claim her first victim, Sasha stumbles upon a potential solution: Paul ( Félix-Antoine Bénard ), a lonely and introverted teenager with suicidal tendencies willing to give his life to feed Sasha. But what happens when a vampire refuses to kill? Ariane Louis-Seize’s Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person explores the answer to this question through a creative blend of coming-of-age, horror, and dark comedy.Ĭoming off two astonishing performances in Maria Chapdelaine and Falcon Lake, young Canadian actress Sara Montpetit hits yet another home run as Sasha, a highly sensitive teenage vampire who refuses to hurt humans to feed herself. The vampire is a fascinating vehicle to explore themes of loneliness, death, and even belonging, after all, we’re talking about a mysterious creature that has lived for many years feeding off the blood of other beings. |
